About Give Liz a List

Creating breathing room with professional organizing and concierge services that remove mess and stress from your life.

Hi there, I’m Liz

What started as a first-grader cleaning houses for $3.17 an hour (the cost of a bushel of wheat) led me to this amazing career as a professional organizer and personal assistant. It wasn’t a linear transition—in between, I obtained a degree in History and a Master’s degree in Interior Design, raised my family, continued my education by obtaining a Master's degree in Library Information Systems, and finally landed my first-ever personal assistant job–though I didn’t know it at the time.

While working as a librarian in Tulsa Public Schools in Oklahoma, I began helping a grieving widow with her grocery shopping. While helping her, I realized I wanted to help more people in their homes and businesses full-time. So, in 2017, Give Liz A List became a reality.

When Give Liz A List started, I primarily focused on cleaning, organizing, and running errands. It was an anything-you-needed operation. My passion, however, lies in personal assistance, with a heavy emphasis on organizing spaces in people’s homes.

When you can do the common things of life in an uncommon way, you will command the attention of the world.

Every minute of my time is used valuably to bring you closer to a better way of living

I love to create spaces that bring ease and enjoyment to your life–and I do it with function in mind so that your household or business is constantly running like a well-oiled machine. My services are an investment into a simpler way of living where you regain control of the time in your life so you can refocus it elsewhere.

Being organized and outsourcing trivial tasks can change your life in a major way.

I’m here to do that for you.

A list about Liz.

I am a mom, a wife, a daughter, and a sister. Like many of you, I juggle my kids’ activities, household, and career.

But here are some fun to-knows about me:

  • Dietary restrictions and food allergies led to creative cooking in my home–sometimes too creative.

  • Christmas and fall holidays are my VIBE. I LOVE decorating and immersing myself in all the holiday things.

  • I have perfected eggless chocolate chip cookies – let me bake for you. I love it!

  • I have three cats–Merry, Pippin, and Frodo.

  • I’m tight at the hip with my three siblings. We all look forward to our annual weekend getaway.

  • My husband and I do the Wordle daily. We’ve never gotten it in one.

I can’t wait to meet you and learn all about your fun, quirky, YOU things.

"I hired Elizabeth M. to bring organization back into my life in my business and home. She came ready to work with each appointment and effortlessly used her process to help me eliminate what was no longer needed and put what was left into an easy to follow system. Liz took care of everything from start to finish and what seemed like an impossible project was completed with no stress to myself or my business. I’m so grateful for her positive energy, resourcefulness and sharp eye for detail. It was exactly what I needed and I’m continuing to hire Liz for projects and personal assisting."
